Tim van der Hagen

Professor Tim van der Hagen (1959) is Dean of the Faculty of Applied Sciences at Delft University of Technology. He was director of the Reactor Institute Delft from 2005 to 2012. He has held the Reactor Physics chair since 1999.

•    Member of the Supervisory Board of ECN
•    Member of the Supervisory Board of COVRA
•    Member of the TNO Strategic Advisory Board on Energy
•    Chairman of the Supervisory Board of HollandPTC
•    Member of the Supervisory Board of ADEM (Advanced Dutch Energy Materials)

Tim has been working in the field of nuclear reactor physics since 1985, with emphasis on the interaction between neutronics and thermal-hydraulics, innovative reactor concepts, signal analysis and multiphase flows. He is the author or co-author of more than 250 publications in scientific journals and conference proceedings. He has been the session chairman and a member of numerous programme committees of international conferences.
