Facilities

The department offers the following excellent general facilities: extensive biological/ wetlab facilities; a central microscopy facility and a large cleanroom facility in the Kavli Nanolab Delft.

The biological facilities include excellent wet lab equipment such as the ACTA/FPLC, MiSeq and a Mass Spectrometer. Our biological lab coordinator is Susanne Hage. These facilities are accessible to employees of the Department of Bionanoscience.

The Kavli Nanolab Imaging Centre (KNIC) offers a collection of state-of-the-art light microscopy equipment such as Structured Illumination Super Resolution Microscopy (SIM), Spinning Disk Confocal Microscopy and Time-Correlated Single-Photon Counting Fluorescent Lifetime Imaging Microscopy (TCSPC-FLIM). The KNIC is accessible to all employees of the Kavli Institute of Nanoscience Delft. Contact person for the KNIC is Michal Shemesh.
