Present research interests
- Production of nanoparticles and sub-nanometer particles (atomic clusters) from the gas phase, including material mixing on a nanometer scale and core-shell structures.
- Application of these particles for creation of novel functional materials and devices (sensors, catalysts, batteries, solar cells, …)
- Characterization of nanoparticles in gas suspension, e.g. in view of health effects.
