Some words about Katsiaryna
Katsiaryna Ushakova completed Belarusian State University (BSU) in Minsk, Belarus with a first class honor degree (2003-2008) and graduation thesis: "Diffraction-free propagation of light pulses in photonic crystals" and then received the BSU master’s degree (2009) having defended the master’s thesis: "Pulsed Bessel beam formation by means of multicircular diaphragm". From 2009 she started working on her PhD thesis "Peculiarities of diffraction-free light beams and pulses formation and its transformation in photonic-crystal structures" in BSU.
Grant
- "Singular light beams formation (optical vortices), laser pulses and investigation of its properties" Grant (Belarusian State University Grant Competition, 2009)
Current Research
Now Katsiaryna Ushakova is participating in the project on High Resolution Optical Lithography.
