Radiation, Detection & Medical imaging

General introduction

Radiation plays an important role in a large variety of applications relevant to society, industry and science. The section Radiation, Detection & Medical imaging (RD&M) directs its research and education into the detection of radiation (including light quanta, X-rays and gamma radiation, neutrons, electrons and positrons, protons, and light ions), novel instruments to utilize radiation.

Current research activities within RD&M:

 

The group aims to further develop its high international standing in its research. In addition, the group contributes to both postgraduate and undergraduate teaching at the Faculty of Applied Sciences and the MSc program in Biomedical Engineering of Delft University of Technology
