Aim of the courses
It is important for Radiation Protection Experts and Officers to keep their education and knowledge up-to-date. Especially in legislation and in detection methods there is continuous development and change. The Dutch government is planning to register Radiation Protection Experts and demand continuous education.
To give you the opportunity to keep you knowledge refreshed and up-to-date and maybe even expanded in some specialist directions, the NCSV offers a range of refresher courses. The course package will be expanded the following years.
Except the necessary refresher courses for Dutch health physicists, we offer a module Dutch legislation for foreign radiation workers who want to perform work on radioactive sources or X-ray equipment in the Netherlands. The Dutch government has a system of mutual recognition of radiation protection courses with several countries like Germany and the United Kingdom, so that employees of these countries only have to follow a short module on Dutch law and regulations. The module Dutch legislation is presented in English and is offered as a course tailor-made to the background and work of the employees on any requested location.
