Several years ago Dutch universities implemented the Bachelor-Master system. For TU Delft this means that all degree programmes have been divided into a three-year Bachelor’s programme and a two-year Master’s programme. A compulsory part of the Master’s programme is the industrial internship for three months. More information about the goals of the internship can be found under “recruiting a student”. The main goal of doing an internship is to become experienced working within a relevent work environment on a level of a professional engineer. Internships therefore have to have a technical “character”.
