On Monday 31 May Prof. Zoller from University of Innsbruck will give a lecture with the title ''Information and Condensed Matter Physics with Quantum Optical Systems''. Come and listen at 16.00 hours in lecture room E of the Applied Physics Building.
Title: Quantum Information and Condensed Matter Physics with Quantum Optical Systems.
Abstract: We give a tour from basic concepts to implementation of quantum computing and quantum simulation with quantum optical systems including cold atoms and molecules. Furthermore, we provide an outlook to possible future developments such as hybrid systems and interfaces involving solid state and atomic elements, and entanglement of levitated nano-scale objects.
