Freek Kapteijn section leader Catalysis Engineering
23 May 2008 by TNWToday | DCTFreek Kapteijn has been appointed section leader of the Catalysis Engineering Group as of April 1st 2008.
The section has also two renovated labs, the Pore Laboratory and the Spectroscopy Laboratory. In the Pore Laboratory meso and microporous are sythesized and tested for challenging applications in catalysis and separation. In the Spectroscopy Laboratory the performance of nanaostructured materials in (photo)-catalytic conversions is investigated, mainly by advanced operando IR spectroscopy techniques.
The Catalysis Engineering group celebrates the appointment of the new section leader and the opening of the labs May 23rd.
