HANS MOOIJ RECEIVES 2004 AGILENT TECHNOLOGIES EUROPHYSICS PRIZE
16 September 2004 by anon.16 sep 2004 - The Agilent Technologies Europhysics prize 2004 for Outstanding Achievement in Condensed Matter Physics has been awarded to Hans Mooij, chairman of Kavli Institute of Nanoscience Delft, together with Michel Devoret, Daniel Esteve and Yasunobu Nakamura. The European Physics Prize is considered to be one of the most prestigious physics prizes presented in Europe. Hans Mooij receives the prize for the demonstration of quantum bits using superconducting circuits.
