Julien Spronck (IST) tracks terrestrial planets without being blinded

Julien Spronck (IST) has developed a method whereby the ESA can track the terrestrial planets without being blinded by the dazzling starlight. For more than 10 years, PhD students in the IST research group have been mimicking the behaviour of starlight and telescopes in the basement of the Applied Physics building.
