Chemical Engineering student Maarten de Nier makes national final of the Shell Bachelor Master Prize

Shell organises this award in cooperation with TU Delft, the University of Twente and Eindhoven University of Technology. The aim of the prize is to stimulate young technical talent to work on technological solutions for a sustainable future. This year, TU Delft Chemical Engineering student Maarten de Nier made the final of the Bachelor Master Prize, which will take place on 14 February at Eindhoven University of Technology.
Storing solar energy
Maarten carried out research into developing a fully integrated unit for photoelectrochemical H2 production. This unit makes it possible to store solar energy in an effective and flexible manner. In the final he will be up against four students from Eindhoven University of Technology and two students from the University of Twente.
