MSc students Chemical Engineering win prize Process Technology Symposium 2007
27 November 2007 by TNWToday | DCTSheida Khajavi, PhD student in DelftChemTech and three master students chemical engineering, Valerie Wong, Deepak Patil and Nandlal Dokhale won the prize of Netherlands Process Technology Symposium 2007 on 30th of October with their group project presentation.
They carried out a Conceptual Process Design project, with Prof. Henk van den Berg of the Department of Science and Technology, University of Twente and Prof. Freek Kepteijn of DelftChemTech, TU Delft.
Their topic of investigation is ''Fishcer Tropsch Synthesis with in-situ water removal- industrial implementation of membranes and their economical feasibility''. The topic was proposed by Sheida Khajavi, Phd student in DelftChemTech, as a conceptual process design project.
