Applied Sciences students successfully complete minor in Education (SEC)

05 April 2011 by M&C Applied Sciences/MSc SEC

On 28 March 2011, thirty students were awarded a certificate and a red rose after completing their minor in Education. This figure also included three Applied Physics students and one Life Science and Technology student. They are now qualified to teach physics or chemistry in the lower classes of senior general secondary education (havo) and pre-university education (vwo).

Both the students and the teaching staff are very positive about the minor. "The students have shown that they have the knowledge they need to teach these subjects and have demonstrated real enthusiasm," recalls teaching specialist Lodewijk Arntzen.
For the students, the teaching practice proved most memorable: "Working with pupils is an unforgettable experience."
