· Prof. Pieter Dorenbos won an award entitled Journal of Luminescence Top Cited Article 2005-2010. The Eu3+ charge transfer energy and the relation with the band gap of compounds. P. Dorenbos.
· Dr. Schaart and international collaborators received the Physics in Medicine & Biology 2009 Prize for the Highest Cited Paper 2004-2009 for the paper entitled, “GATE: a simulation toolkit for PET and SPECT,” by S.
